How I found out I was pregnant, hmmm , let me recall for a moment, OK it was September and I usually have a phone app to notify me whenever my period is due. So my phone shows that my period due date is on September 15 , normally the phone app that calculated my due date is quite accurate, plus or minus a day or two. But I miss my period on that day so I thought oh well maybe my period may be late. 

Coincidentally, we are traveling to Japan on the next day and so I took a pregnancy test before going to Japan just to make sure I wasn't pregnant because we are planning to go to Universal Studios and some rides maybe dangerous for pregnant women. If I know I'm pregnant, we would have cancel the whole trip lol

I mean we did try to get pregnant for the first time this month so there is a big chance that I would get pregnant but based on online statistics, they say give it a year to try so we didnt expect that we'd suceed in the first try.

Guess what, the result came out negative , reason why is maybe that the pregnancy is too early in stage for the pregnancy hormone hCG to be detected or I didn't wait long enough to see another line (LOL) More on that later in the post.

 So we did continue on travel to Japan and each day I kept on worrying why didn't I start menstruate yet, the fact that I'm late makes my wonder again if I'm pregnant but I took the test and it's negative ? So I buried my thoughts, hubby really took good care of me while traveling, he make sure that I don't carry heavy things and get hydrated all the time. I guess he may be having six sense about me being pregnant.

On the day we went to Universal Studios, which is around 5 days due from when I'm supposed to menstruate, I wonder again if I'm pregnant or just hormone imbalance but just to make sure my pregnancy is safe if I'm really pregnant, my husband actually prevent me from riding any dangerous rides, so I just wait for him to finish the rides or watch some shows but the one that I did ride was Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey , it was amazing but it made me very dizzy from riding it , luckily it was not those high speed and free fall kinda ride (I was very worried after I found out I was pregnant but it's already in the pass right? I can't change it, all I can do was to not worrying myself to much to stress the baby) In my defense, we didn't know we were queuing for the ride , we thought we were queuing to go on the Hogwarts castle tour cause everything is in Japanese, and after almost an hour long queue, I wasn't going to bail out and waste our time right and I didn't know I was pregnant.

The next day after Universal theme park, we are actually going home and I still haven't got my period , in the plane I kept on thinking if I was really pregnant, and there is one incident that the plane go on turbulence because of typhoon and it went free fall for just a few sec , enough for me to pray to god and wish us all safety back home. Luckily, after that it was a safe and turbulence free ride back home.

Once back home, the first thing that hubby and me thought of was to take another pregnancy test again. So i unpacked my bags and immediately drank few cups of water and I went into the toilet to do a urine test. Tested and got a single line again (for anyone who didnt know, single line means negative and double line means positive) so I told my husband that the test is negative and was going to throw away the test strip until my husband said : "let me have a look." . He took it and immediately ask me what does this faint second line mean?? I took a second look at it and really do saw a faint line and took a picture of it

I was shock but was doubtful as whether the original packaging has faint line as well, I didn't think I see it before, and we opened another new test strip just to make sure and it surely didn't have any lines on it ! Husband immediately googled what it meant by having faint second line, well search result came out that the faint line is also consider as positive and that in early pregnancy , the hCG hormone is still very low thus the faint line. It was unbelievable and I took another test and it came out same! I was this close to throwing the test and luckily hubby stopped me if not I wouldn't knew I was pregnant (that explains the negative test I did before going to Japan LOL)

First thing we did is to break the news to my father and mother in law, haha their first reaction is really? You can't be sure , you just missed your period and where got so fast know one? I show them the test results and they said in olden days they don't really use this kinda test so they didn't know , I guess that this came as a shock to them cause they expect us to talk about our trip and older days, they only knew it after they did blood test. So my mother in law called the doctor and I go to the clinic just to make sure its positive and yeah its positive!  So that's how I found out I was pregnant! Hope I don't bored you with this long wordy post :)
